Ariz. Congressman (Shaddeg-R): Retirement Can Wait
Source: Associated Press

PHOENIX — Postponing retirement plans he announced last week, Rep. John Shadegg said Thursday he will seek an eighth term in Congress.

The Arizona Republican said he reconsidered after 146 of his House colleagues signed a letter pleading for him to return. Leaders of 33 conservative organizations also asked him to stay.

4. Well that is a bummer
It is extremely difficult to out an incumbant. Our chances of picking up that seat were pretty good if he retired but now they are not so good at all.
