I'm offended even by the phrase "before he faces reelection." It's also interesting that the WP states that Iowa "reset" the Dem field, even before it occurs...

Maybe he just expects to be appointed, not elected, again.

Are there DUers out there who intend to watch the speech? I won't be able to stomach it, myself. I don't have high blood pressure, but it might cause it on the spot. Make that 60 million minus at least one, but again, the WP sure seems to have a lot of confidence in its prescience.
