Britain: Harry's Afghan deployment over

LONDON - Britain's Ministry of Defense says Prince Harry is being withdrawn from Afghanistan.

Chief of the Defense Staff Air Chief Marshal Jock Stirrup confirmed Friday that the army is pulling Harry out of Afghanistan after news of his deployment there was leaked.

Wishing Prince Harry a safe return, though, seriously.

And the same for the other blokes in his unit - I am sure Harry does not want to leave them but now news of his presence is a danger to them all.

Really, Drudge's reporting of Harry's service ranks right up there with some of the other anti-Dem stuff he's been doing lately, like Obama in Africa.

I abhor the war in Iraq, but I understand the "why" of Afghanistan but not always the "how." If Harry is willing to out there and put his life on the line for what he may think is fighting for his country he should be commended.

Perhaps Drudge will lose some of his readership over this.
