BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed three American soldiers north of Baghdad on Saturday, pushing the U.S. death toll in the five-year conflict to nearly 4,000.

The latest deaths brought to 3,996 the number of U.S. service members and Pentagon civilians who have died since the war began on March 20, 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

I wonder what the overall effect is - lets say each service member has 5 family, 20 extended family, and a couple of dozen friends.

Each loss effects DIRECTLY over 50 people, and probably hundreds more indirectly.

Do the math.

The USA's constant war policy causes immeasurable grief to those they attack, and their own citizens.

Nice policy.

Why is it that the USA is the ONLY country in the World that is always bombing someone?
