Court annuls PKK inclusion on terror funds list

LUXEMBOURG, April 3 (Reuters) - A top European Union
court ruled against the inclusion of the Kurdistan Workers
Party (PKK) on a list of groups whose funds must be frozen
as part of the fight against terrorism on Thursday, citing
procedural problems.

The Court of First Instance (CFI), the EU's second-highest
court, said the EU had not properly justified its decision.

whose finances must be frozen as required by a United
Nations resolution, EU officials have said previously.

It looks like only terrorist groups receiving US aid and funding are exempt from economic terrorism watch-lists. Pretty soon the Columbian AUC and Iraqi-Iranian MEK will also no longer be considered terrorists...
