Closing has Va. Tech, NIU slayings in mind

News of threatening graffiti found at St. Xavier University didn't alarm graduate student Jamie Brewczynski.

But when school officials made the extraordinary decision Friday to shut the university down indefinitely and ordered students to leave by noon Saturday, she was frightened.

Menacing graffiti was first found on April 5. But a second message found Thursday in the same bathroom stall was of more concern to school officials because of its specific threat: "Be prepared to die on 4/14."

budget concerns in the city why not their colleges? They build new ones in the well to do suburbs or towns.

Where are the students going to finish their year in college?

Me smells a rotten fish in these threats on universities stories (actually the event themselves connected eventually to the Bush administration). They are trying very hard to remove guns from Illinois (a very Democratic state). It's all over the news. We don't need new guns laws. We need enforcement of the ones we have.

They really don't care whose life they ruin to get their agenda of no guns and a Police State. I'm very suspicious of it all since 911 and Katrina. They are capable of anything.
