Nebraska Superdelegate Backs Obama

State party chairman Steve Achelpohl says the Senator transcends “politics as usual.”

Five of six Cornhusker superdels now back Obama, with one uncommitted.

4. Looks as if that "Win it with the Super Delegates" strategy is not working out too well for HRC.
Only thing that could possibly reverse things now is a huge win in PA followed by wins in North Carolina and Indiana for HRC, imo. And even that might not do it.

8. Superdelegate Achelpohl says he'll support Obama (Ne State Party Chairman)

Nebraska superdelegate Steve Achelpohl said Saturday he will support Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Achelpohl, the state party chairman, said Obama "will unite Americans from all walks of life behind his historic movement for change and put states like Nebraska in play in the fall."

"I'm very proud to endorse him today," he said.

His decision leaves only one undecided superdelegate in Nebraska, Audra Ostergard of Lincoln.
