2. So much for the SD's going against the electorate for Hillary. Looks like they
will for Barack, though.

Another bubble bursts....

3. Exactly. As if the remaining SD's want to become infamous and forever known for overturning
the will of the people to appoint Hillary.

5. Well,the Hillary supporters sure want them to do it for her.
I notice you said "appoint". That is my feeling about how the Hillary supporters would like to see her win.
By their appointment. Never mind that Barack is beating her in every measurable way.

7. If the SD's overturn the will of the people, that is how I will view it.
It would be no different than the SC appointing Bush as pResident. :grr:

4. "Going with the electorate" is just another bastardization of an already flawed process.
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 11:19 AM by MercutioATC
Yes, it would probably be politically advantageous for SDs to go with their electorate (those who have electorates), but that's in complete contradiction with their raison d'etre. SDs were injected into the procedd to STOP an electorate that was voting for a candidate that insiders felt couldn't win the general. They're NOT supposed to vote with their electorate.

6. Who knows what they are really for? The Dem process is SO convoluted.
I guess they're staying with the "herding cats" meme. ;)

8. Obama just picked up another super.
4-23-08 Added Gov. Brad Henry (OK) for Obama.

Quote:
Gov. Brad Henry, who said earlier he would not endorse a Democratic presidential candidate until this summer's national convention, announced this morning he is supporting Barack Obama.

10. That's misleading. They're not NOT supposed to go with the electorate, either.
NT!
