Some French Lawmakers to Snub China Chief

PARIS -- President Jacques Chirac welcomed Chinese President Hu Jintao at Orly Airport on Monday, but some French lawmakers vowed to snub Hu by boycotting his keynote speech to protest Beijing's human rights record.

Chirac's presence on the red carpet at the airport for Hu and his wife, Liu Yongqing, was a rare honor by the French president. The two men inspected a military guard as a band played China's anthem, "March of the Volunteers," followed by France's "Marseillaise

1. Is that the same Chinese leader Bush had at his ranch?
I'm not surprised some French are boycotting it. Bush, Chirac, and other conservatives are butt buddies with the Chinese autocrats. What the hell do they care about human rights? Leave that to leftists.

who visited Crawford in 10/2002.

Bush is giving the Chinese a pass for now while he deals the "axis of evil".

Giving them a pass?

His uncle his head of the US-China Chamber of Commerce. Daddy was ambassador to China. China was the only country Bush has visited prior to becoming President. Bush is allowing US corporations to ship the most advanced microprocessor manufacturing facilities to China.

You don't do things like that to someone next in line after the 'axis of evil'. Not unless your a traitor.
