Polk teacher arrested on sex charges

LAKELAND - The Polk County Sheriff's Office says a female schoolteacher has been arrested for sexual relationships with at least four teens.

Detectives say the first two victims were students of 32-year-old Danielle Jones, a sixth grade teacher at Stanbaugh Middle School in Auburndale.

Jones allegedly contacted the boys aged 14 and 15 through their MySpace accounts.

Sex with an older knowing woman (or man depending on the preference) is a fairly common experience for boys 15 to 18. I doubt that it cause irreversible psychological trauma in most cases. ( Speaking from personal experience it is probably one of the least damaging things that can happen in junior high school)

Modern literature is filled with references to the importance of such a mating everything from the summer of '42 to the Vagina Monologues celebrate the wistful healthy loving only an experienced woman can give. (and if that experienced woman is a college freshman and cheerleader who is babysitting over the weekend while your parents are on vacation.... well so much the better but that was the early eighties things were different back then. but I digress)

Now some will claim the fact she is a teacher is a problem. And while we may embrace the love shown to their students by an Aristotle or Sylvia Krystal in Private Lessons the truth is due to a reduction of authority teachers in real life should refrain from introducing young boys to the pleasures of manhood. That privilege should be left to your older sisters friends, that neighborhood woman who needs her leaves raked or perhaps your new stepbrothers nanny.
