Bush Approval Ratings Remain at Record Low Level
Source: Rasmussen Reports

For the seven days ending June 14, just 31% approved of the way the President is performing his job. Sixty-seven percent (67%) disapproved. Those figures are unchanged from a week ago and match the lowest level of approval ever recorded.

Currently, just 11% Strongly Approve of the President’s performance. Four times as many—49%--Strongly Disapprove. Both those figures are a point worse for the President than a week ago and represent new all-time lows.

In May, the number of Americans who consider themselves to be Democrats remained near the highest levels ever recorded by Rasmussen Reports.

12. Ask those geniuses to define liberal sometime
They often say communist, leftist, etc.

They really have no idea what the word "Liberal" means.

4. They Are Authoritarians
Read John Dean's book. Thirty percent or so of our population believes in strict obedience and adherence to authority without question. These people support Bush because they're incapable of or afraid of thinking for themselves. No matter how much information or current events show how big of a failure Bush is, they will still support him.

The larger negative for the rest of us is that Republicans only need to chip off 20% from that 67% disapprove to re-take power.

For a virtual confirmation of parts of the theory, just watch the little Nazi lemmings flock to the wikipedia discussion page on the subject, and attempt to remove the article... which in part predicts that they will attempt to remove the article:

It's a really interesting subject and I've written a short article on it myself, which is to be published soon....

Edit: in the meantime, here's the background image I've made for the upcoming article, for your amusement:

17. They are fascists who like living under the thumb of the government
Many people in Iran loved life under the Shah - it was great for cronies and others who hated the great unwashed masses. Same thing here.

15. Among AA's
his approval rating in 2006 was 2%...that's *two*. So if you take the margin of error, which was 3, he could potentially be scoring -1 in that demographic.

Only question is, how the fuck can 31% of America still be so incredibly deeply stupid?

20. 31% of the population has an IQ of 92 or less
Assuming that IQ is normally distributed with mean=100 and SD=15 (I understand it's drifted over the years, though).

so the real approval is probably 10 points lower than that.

21. that 31% wouldn't admit their real feelings if their lives depended on it.
FAR less than 31% "approve", but they've got too much at stake to admit they were wrong: GOP diehards, kids in the military who need to believe in "the cause", selfish fuckers who only care about their own taxes, etc.

basically, they're in denial.

7 months left.

It would be interesting if his approval rating hung right at that number......
