Crude futures reach fresh record above $140 |

Source: MarketWatch SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude futures reached a new record in electronic trading on Globex Thursday. Weakness in the dollar as well as production concerns combined to take August crude to a high of $140.05 a barrel, according to Factset. It was last up $5.20, or 3.9%, at $139.75 on Globex and up $5.45 at $140 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Bullshit - it's 100% speculation. The dollar has been level or slightly rising over the last month, and any production concerns are vapor at this point in time.
I can't stand it when the MSM tries to make out-of-control greed sound rational. It's a system of hyper-capitalist profit junkies committing suicide for a short-term fix.

Let's go people. Stop being pushed around. Let's pick a company and boycott their products until they die!
They make us die. They want us to fight their wars for them. It's past due for pay back. Lower the prices or face economic extinction!

I just planted some peas and some herbs today.
My green peppers are coming along nicely, too.
Yes, growing your own food is one good way to stop funding the plunder.
Going solar/wind/geothermal is another way.
Now if only we could grow our own cable TV and radio ... legally, that is.
