NLRB gives Issa deadline for payment

The NLRB has set a July 17 deadline for Bashar Issa to begin making payments to 10 former Statler project laborers as required by a settlement agreement he signed in May. The Manchester, England-based developer has failed to make two payments, totaling $46,844, for back pay and lost wages.

“He is out of compliance with the settlement and we’ve sent out a letter of demand,” said Rhonda P. Ley, legal counsel for the NLRB’s Buffalo office.
