Source: BBC News

Sudan's president has been accused of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo told judges at The Hague that Omar al-Bashir bore criminal responsibility for alleged atrocities committed over the past five years.

The three-judge panel must now decide whether there are reasonable grounds for an arrest warrant to be issued.

1. W should be next. Note, for one example, the story above about
white phosphorus and depleted uranium.

2. His defense will be that he is only killing his own citizens, so
the International Criminal Court is interfering in Sudan's internal affairs. :puke:

rape by his soldiers, and genocide. They will be issuing one for * before too long

4. Thank God -
At last. I've been heavily involved with Save Darfur for several years. Every march, every rally, every letter, every ad taken in foreign papers . . .

We did. For the first time ever, the perpetrator is being called to the floor WHILE they sit in office. While it's going on.

Now is it wait and see? Or will the world really do something.

There's a part of me that believes they are just doing this to shut us up for China's Genocide Olympics . . .
