5. How come they never raise the terror alert
for stuff like the Super Bowl? If I hated Americans for their freedom, why would I want to hit Air France?

19. Well I think there's been some mistake . . .
. . . after seeing your photo of Commander Codpiece, . . . they obviously meant to say 'Heir Pants' not Air France. Oops. :P

8. Daryn "I wanna work for E!" Kagan is now dutifully whoring it up now
Air France and British Airways... LA and DC the targets... basically nothing remotely suggesting specific info, but it includes the word France, so I guess it MUST be dangerous.

10. Don't look now, Cheney
is working the phones this weekend, trying to dictate to Congress the terms of an independent investigation into the bad Iraq intelligence that he used to convince everybody to invade and occupy Iraq.

11. Someone should graph the threat level changes against the
political bombshells that have been published against this administration......I'll bet the correlation would be eye-opening.

12. WE should be working the phones, not Cheney
We should all be calling our congresspeople, demanding that heads roll

16. It's always Air France
that way when they say 'Kerry looks French' they can make the subliminal association between Terrorist laden airplanes and Kerry.

Really, other than the obvious reasons, would Air France come up.

There is no end to the vindictive behavior of that asshole.

18. Well, shit, we should have known
something like this was coming. Raise the terror threat when- a) There's a holiday, b) A big event-sporting or otherwise, something that involves a big group of people gathering, c) There is much bad news in the wind for the current misadministration. I'd say both "b" and "c" are appropriate here. Everyone talking too much about the shitty information they used to take us to war on? September 11th committee findings getting too much press? Just tell everyone to be afraid, be very afraid...

20. Sounds like Daleel Almojahid
(aka: Jeremy Reynolds) is back on line creating his chatter that gets Tom Ridge all in a tizzy everytime he does this.

I'm starting to set my clock to this guy. Everytime he publishes new info that he claims he gets directly from an al Qaeda operative that he's pen pals with, within the week there is an alert from HS about the exact same thing that he predicted. Gee, what a coincidence?

21. Message to EU: don't piss us off, or we'll ruin your economy
The Bush family has never seen a grudge they didn't want to nurse, and for a good long time.
