McCain expected to accept nod in person
Source: Politico.com

Convention planners said for the first time that they expect McCain to accept the nomination in person, in St. Paul. They had considered a remote appearance from the Gulf Coast.

The convention is expected to run the full four scheduled days, officials said.

Thank God! If anything can save John McCain's campaign, it's his stage presence and speaking ability.

5. Since when did McCain become part of the executive branch?
A remote appearance from the Gulf Coast would be just an opportunistic photo op.
McCain is a senator, he's not the president-in-waiting or president-elect,
but they are trying to give that appearance. The same goes for the Russia-Georgia
situation.

7. I hope the keynote speech
is still on schedule. I cannot wait to hear the GOP, the party of “Family Values,” keynote speech of Rudy Giuliani, a confessed serial adulterer, as he sings the moral praises of John McCain, another confessed serial adulterer.

as a Cat. 2 Hurricane somewhere near Savannah GA sometime Thursday or Friday. That is the latest forcast the gentleman on MSNBC. I would suspect that many Florida and Georgia viewers will be paying more attention to the weather than McCain this night.
