Money Trail: What Hurricane? Lobbyists, GOP Party On
Source: ABC NEWS

Brian Ross investigative reporting -

Many corporate sponsors and their lobbyists carried through with plans for lavish entertainment of GOP lawmakers and others despite calls from the campaign of Sen. John McCain that Republicans should tone down the convention festivities.

"We will be contacting corporations and others to ask them to be respectful of events in the gulf," McCain campaign manager Rick Davis said Sunday afternoon.

1. CNN's Anderson Cooper declared Gustav..just a minor thing where Fema and Corps of Engineers
succeeded in their goals. No damages...one death...but he did at least say that we might find it all looks differently tomorrow. I think it will take some days before the Blogs get the TRUTH of it.

We will see....how it all works out. They told us the night after Katrina hit that "all is well" then we saw the aftermath for weeks afterward.
