There are many Jews who for some unknown reason think that the Repubs will support Isreal more than the Dems. (This is in line with the myth that they are better on national defense.)
Perhaps this will ease some of those fears.

4. Actually from comments some of the freepers around me have made, they don't like jews

or anyone different from them and this is actually supposed to be a slur on Obama. _Now_ we know it's actually cool, but the people living in the middle of the united states aren't that cultured of a bunch. Remember the Jews killed Christ and do not accept even now that Christ is the savior that Isaiah and a few others predicted would come. They still think that savior will come. Therefore fundies don't actually take that well to Jews. And yeah, even though Christ was a Jew.

My point is, for the right wing and for small town America this news is meant as an Obama slur.

This is all very ambiguous stuff, of course, sort of like the relationship between David and Jonathan. At the very least, though, the level of affection depicted in both those relationships would be considered unusual between men from a modern Western perspective, even if Jesus and John (or David and Jonathan) weren't actually humping. :P
