Sarah Palin Thinks Barack Obama Will Regret Not Picking Hillary Clinton
Source: ABC News

Gov. Sarah Palin says Sen. Barack Obama just might regret not picking Sen. Hillary Clinton as his vice presidential running mate.

In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says Barack Obama may regret not picking Sen. Hillary Clinton as his vice presidential running mate.

"I think he's regretting not picking her now, I do. What, what determination, and grit, and even grace through some tough shots that were fired her way -- she handled those well," the Alaska governor told Charles Gibson in her third and final exclusive interview with ABC News.

I think we've now opened the door to talking about McCain's decision-making process, don't you?

33. DId anyone check were the votes went
In the democratic primary election.
What did Biden , Edward and Kucinich receive in total. 10 to
15 percent....
Hillary would have been a good choice for Vice President.
You let the republicans convince you she wasn't.

Hillary must have received 10 to 20 percent of the women's
vote , that was voting because she was a woman. They will
vote ,wherever a woman is running , require less of their
qualifications.

45. I agree
I think the biggest reason that Sen. Obama did not pick Sen. Clinton is that he did not want her to get more press than he did. For some reason, McPain does not seem to mind that Pallid is in the limelight.

Ego sometimes prevents us from seeing the better choice...

46. WE didn't choose Biden, Obama did
I trust Obama's view on this. He picked the most qualified person that he works well with. I don't deny that Hillary has a good resume and that Obama's relations with her have improved since primary season, but I believe that Biden is very qualified, and Obama and Biden work very well together on the campaign trail.

Once America stops staring at the new, shiny thing (Failin'), Biden will look great. The heavy hitting he does now will get shown, and Sarah Failin' can go back to the Arctic tundra. The VP debate will rock.

Would Hillary have been a good VP? Perhaps. Will Biden be a good VP? I think so. Should we start the "What if..." game with Hillary for VP? NO.

63. As a president Hillary would have been fine, but not as a vice-president
OTOH, having Hillary on the Democratic ticket was the GOP wet dream--they've spent over 12 years perfecting their attacks on her.

If there was a "mistake" at all, and I don't think there really was, it was in not choosing a Democratic governor--Kathleen Sebelius or Brian Schweitzer--to eliminate McSame's claim of "executive experience." Since they're pumping up Palin as this huge expert on foreign affairs based on Alaska's proximity to Russia, Schweitzer's 500-mile border with Canada's timber country (there's a BIG dispute about Canadian softwood exports) trumps Palin's "you can kinda see a relatively unpopulated part of Russia from Alaska if you stand in the right place and look really hard" bullshit.

And, Charlie KNOWS what Biden thinks about the Bush Doctrine, so would not even ask him such a softball!

She opened the door to comparing her to Hillary.
Issues and registering voters might be better activities than going there.

Imagine the debate. Biden quayle's her with, "Gov. you are no Hillary. I know Hillary, Hillary is a friend of mine, and Gov. you are no Hillary!"

Actually though I think Obama should have done a couple of those just so MaGoo could lose his temper live on TV. I hope to see that in 2 weeks but it would be nice to see that happen more.

6. As A Democrat
I don't really care WHAT Sarah Palin thinks about who my candidate chose as his running mate. If she was in my party I might pay her some attention, but would probably dismiss her statement any way. Joe Biden is my Vice Presidential candidate.

That being said....I will put my party's vice presidential candidate up again Sarah Palin's party's vice presidential candidate any day. Please get back to me when the Repug VP candidate starts talking to the press in press conferences and on a daily basis like my party's candidate does.

I have a feeling I won't be seeing that much in this campaign.

Little does she know her own words, deeds and actions have never been tested like Hillary's, and soon enough she is gonna fall flat on her face and everyone is gonna be saying how that McCain wishes he hadn't picked her.

It's coming. Her fundamentalist creed is scaring everyone who finally sees it... her Mission from God bs is spreading rapidly.

to defend Obama and the ticket, has she? Oh sure, she makes speeches and raises money, but this egocentric woman is surely looking ahead to another run and does not want to get her fingers dirty by forcefully defending Obama too much, doncha know. She has dumped him so to speak for her own ambitions. She has been somewhat bland in this whole thing,.

and, btw, where the hell are the other Democrat big wigs in this? Gore? Absent. Bill Clinton? Playing us along still seeking a third term in the
wH with his wife's next run? It is almost laughable. By that time the Clintons will be so used up and old hat, they will not have a chance at a nomination.

Obama seems to be out there on his own and still, without them all, those fearless Democrats, is keeping up and has a good chance,. The rest of them, imo, can go pound salt.

67. She should NEVER start a sentence with the words "I think".
At least not in public.

69. That's ok Sarah
I think McCain will be sorry he didn't pick Kay Baily Huchinson, or even Carli Fiorina by the time the election rolls around.

It would also be nice to see ABC give some face time to Biden after spending 3 hours with Sarah. She's off for a tough interview with Hannity later. Probably need another week to prep for that now. Whereas Biden seems to have dropped off the map. I'm not sure if he has or the MSM just isn't covering him, because no one has photoshopped his head on some interesting porn pix.

76. You got that right, if I were Palin I'd zip my lips
because Palin surely is no Hillary Clinton.

And as all her skeletons and their entrails fall out of the closet for all the world to see, she may regret accepting to be VPOTUS!!!

80. She is Out of Her Mind
If Obama picked Hillary, McSame would have never picked her. The rest of the campaign would have been about Hillary and the Republicans would have crucified her with Sean Hannity driving in the nails. I agree with Bill Clinton that Obama will win easily. No one wants more of the same.
