Rumsfeld's antics made Condoleezza cry
Source: Times of India

LONDON: US president George Bush's right-hand woman secretary of state Condoleezza Rice, who has guided her country through the war on terror, is often described as the most unwavering woman in US politics.

However, according to US vice-president Dick Cheney's new biography, Rice was once so fazed by ex-defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld that she broke down to tears at a meeting in the White House.

The story dates back to 2004. Rice, the then national security adviser, tried repeatedly to organise a meeting with the seniormost government figures to discuss setting up of military tribunals for Guantanamo Bay, The Sunday Telegraph reported.

Rumsfeld twice refused to attend, sending his deputy Paul Wolfowitz instead. -He did not regard her as an equal and barely hid it. The opinions of her staff did not interest him," author Barton Gellman wrote.

5. She is a war criminal who should be jailed for the rest of her life.
You don't get a second chance, Condi.

You are a weak person with no moral courage, just like Colin Powell. I am very sorry that those young girls at your church were killed by a bomb in 1963. You obviously learned nothing from their deaths.

You nasty thing. We needed hope and leadership, and you gave us nothing. Now you are less than nothing.

7. she was the incompetent NSA chosen by the puppet president...
I'm not surprised Rumsfeld (or Wolfowitz) would not regard her as an equal. In all fairness, she isn't.

Rumsfeld was chosen by Cheney and was a long time co-conspirator with him since the Nixon Days; Condoleeza's a barely competent academic and utterly incompetent NSA and Sec of State, chosen by "President" Cuckoo Bananas because he's her husb... I mean, friend.

11. Cheney treats her the same way
He occasionally goes to foreign countries in person and cuts her out of the picture altogether. And you know she's not going to stand up to Snarling Dick. That's a turf war that even a secretary of state can't win.

12. Technically, Rice is below the Secretary level in the food chain
This is like the bickering among Hitler's staff. Who cares? They should all be hung for their crimes!

14. They all made us cry for our troops and their families.
She deserves to cry for the heartaches she has given us all who care. I hope the faces of the fallen will haunt them all until the day they die and go to hell. Boo. Friggin. Hoo.
