Bush to address United Nations
Source: Yahoo News

President George Bush will suggest ways in which the United Nations (UN) could be improved in his final speech to the world body.

Global leaders are in New York for the UN General Assembly's annual meeting and Mr Bush will make his last appearance before the UN as president of the US.

US National Security advisor Stephen Hadley said Mr Bush's speech "will highlight the current challenges facing multilateral organisations like the UN and how to improve the ability of these organisations to meet these challenges".

"He'll talk about the need to focus on results," Mr Hadley said. "You've heard him say he's kind of an outcomes guy, not a process guy, and sometimes we spend too much time on the process and not enough time on the outcomes."

8. arrogance and stupidity
the name is *.

* address UN in last meeting:

long semi-circle board room table, name plates identifying each member who sit uneasily avoiding eye contact with the *. One member spied with I-Pod in ears.

* stands at front of room, cowboy boots and blue suit with the extra shoulder pads. eyes room up, still thinks he owns it. Pride and ignorance written on his face; his last legacy.

*, "IF this was a dictatorship, it'd be a hell of a lot easier...just so long as I was the dictator! heh heh. Thanks, UN, for getting in the way. The world coulda been a contender. Just look what I did for the USA. Now, if you hire me on as President of the UN, I might could help y'all out. Heh. Heh."

Stony silence greets his "little joke". * shakes head, these smarty pants have no sense of humor. Regroups, he just wants outta this roomful of elitists. Think they're better than him just because they read. Large chip on shoulder now, anger at not being acknowledged as Best President Ever. Cheney promised him it would be different than this.

*, "Okey dokey then. I'll be takin my cowboy hat and ridin on outta here. Y'all listen to that gag Palin, she'll take on the big ol' boys in the UN and set this place to rights," sulkily under his breath, "world unity my ass, you latte drinkin mothers."

The applause which greets his departure momentarily stuns *. They like me! They really like me! He thinks, until he turns around for his final wave from on high, only to see the unmistakable signs of giddy relief written all over each and every face of the UN.

*, "You hate America for her freedoms!" he screams petulantly once he is safely on the right side of the door.

* Legacy complete. Mission accomplished.

"El Diablo es aqui!"

Sorry if my my sentence is not correct and I know I should have an "upside down" exclamation point on the front of the sentence, but I couldn't figure out how to do that.

12. Bush to address United Nations
Why should he address the UN about America's crisis? Really,
I think you should address the America people about our
financial crisis because the current Republican is still
saying that Americans are in a good state financially, than
his running mate Palin is completely crazy as well. I can not
wait until Bush is out of office...because man...haha let's
just say I hope those charges stick?!?

16. Outcomes guy
"You've heard him say he's kind of an outcomes guy, not a process guy, and sometimes we spend too much time on the process and not enough time on the outcomes."

"Process" would have involved letting the weapons inspectors finish their job and then no doubt declare that Iraq was clean of WMDs.

No he's a good old "Outcomes" guy, damn the facts, he wanted chaos in the Middle East to make some coin for him and his pals. And he was a huge success at it.

I don't think any leader would for the sakes of diplomacy, but I'd love to see a large percent of representatives simply get up and turn their backs to him. Then again I'm sure we will hardly hear the smattering of tepid applause he will earn.
