Brokaw, Olbermann Featured in Obama Ad
Source: TV Newser

Tom Brokaw anchors a mock election night broadcast and Keith Olbermann's voice can be heard announcing Sen. John McCain as the next President of the United States in a new ad from the campaign of Sen. Barack Obama.

The YouTube video, titled, "Bad News," is a promotion for the site VoteForChange.com. The point of the mock election night special report warns of a McCain victory if voter turnout is low.

Earlier this month, FNC sent a cease-and-desist to the McCain campaign for using a Major Garrett report in a Web ad and CBS had a McCain ad removed from YouTube after Katie Couric's comments were used. The ad is still up on the Obama YouTube channel.

1. Notice the vote percentage - McCain 51%, Obama 49%.
According to Clint Curtis, that's the margin by which they stole Florida.

2. I remember months ago (I think during the primaries), Obama
was being interviewed and said he believed Gore won in 2000. It's wise to remind people of that fiasco and that we need a wide margin to prevent a repeat.

3. It was during a joint appearance with Hillary Clinton. I remember that.
As for the 51%-49% margin and Clint Curtis, that was from 2004.

4. Yes, we need to remind people of how 'close' the last two elections were.

6. Stephen Spoonamore agrees with you.
A Republican data security analyst who says the electronic voting machines are easily hackable, and that he does not believe that either the 2000 or 2004 votes were counted correctly.
He says that the only way to guarantee valid vote counting is by hand in front of witnesses.

10. I just had a BINGO moment
Spoonamore was saying recently that phone lines can be easily hacked. The voting machines use the phone lines. Bush/Cheney have the lines tapped!

Does anybody see what I'm seeing????

9. That's correct- 3 points in Florida. That's why we need a landslide.
The will skim off approximately 3-4 points in various tricks- rigged machines account for 2-3 points, assorted caging, disenfranchising students and minority neighborhoods with lousy or not enough machines, stopping people at the polls for incorrect or incomplete addresses, etc.
