Obama seven points ahead in CNN's Final Poll
Source: Cnn

(CNN) – Two and seven: With two days left until election day, a new national poll suggests that Barack Obama holds a seven-point lead over John McCain in the race for the White House.

In the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, released Sunday morning, 53 percent of likely voters say they are backing Obama, a Democratic senator from Illinois, for president, while 46 percent support McCain, a Republican senator from Arizona.

2. Final poll? Oh, no, what will I do now?
Hi, I'm TC, and I'm hooked on polls. Do I have to go cold turkey after Tuesday? Can't somebody start a tracking poll for 2012? Obama should be a heavy favorite.

5. There's probably a "12 step" group for polling abuse.
It's undoubtably meeting in a church basement near you.

3. What were the polls saying for Kerry and Gore at this same time??
Some tv pundits on CNN were saying that Kerry and Gore were both ahead, just like Obama, and still lost. Is this true?

4. It was basically neck and neck, Kerry occasionally holding a lead
but never by more than two or three points.

It was a totally different situation than this year.

7. Garbage!
That is just regurgitated McFail false bravado. He has to appear viable lest all his supporters give up and call it a lost cause.

No honest poll actually shows a tightening race.

8. What bullshit
McCain can't fill a phone booth for a rally. Obama can't find a place big enough.

Obama voters have been standing in line half a day for early voting. McCain voters are all at early-bird specials or Klan meetings.

Obama has five million volunteers working tirelessly. McCain has about 200, sitting around yakking.

And they want us to believe the candidates are only seven points apart? I'm not buying it. I simply refuse to believe the country is close to evenly split on what is perhaps the most important -- and clearly divided -- election in our liftimes.

Unless, the "fix is in," which I hope to God isn't the case, because it won't be pretty.
