Police probe possible threat to Obama
Source: UPI

CHICAGO, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Police Wednesday investigated whether a man with an assault rifle arrested in suburban Chicago was planning to harm President-elect Barack Obama.

Several sources told the Chicago Sun-Times police and Secret Service agents have been interviewing the suspect since he was apprehended in suburban Rosemont Tuesday afternoon.

Rosemont police Sgt. Keith Kania confirmed the arrest but refused to provide any details.

Kania said the suspect was arrested after Rosemont police pulled over the car he was driving, the Daily Herald reported.

8. We must get rid of the Nazi style "justice" system Bush has made
and strengthen our own fully functional justice system with all of the Constitutional safe guards in place.
In Europe they treat the wacko "terrorists" as the criminals they are. They put them on trial as any criminal would be put on trial and provided they have a good case the person gets convicted and sent to prison for life.

We above all must set the example we want others to follow. For the past 8 years we have been giving people an example of extreme right wing neocon neonazi totalitarianism. This must stop and we must re establish that we are a nation of laws, that no one is above the law, all people must be given a chance to know what they have done wrong, who has accused them of this wrong. All people must have the right to a lawyer, a right to deny and defend themselves against accusations. A right to be heard in a real court of law not a kangaroo military tribunal where the guilt or innocence of the defendant has been predetermined.

We must act quickly to restore our rights of due process and the protection of Habeas Corpus and our right to privacy and the right not to be stopped and searched without probable cause.

We have a wonderful justice system and sure it probably needs more resources, but it was once the pride of America and now with what Bush has done to us, the world considers us no better than many dictatorships of the past like Stalin's Russia, or Hitlers Germany.

So we must capture all of those people who would do us harm and put them on trial. A fair trial and if convicted put away so they cannot harm anyone else.

(that's my 2 cents worth)

7. Monitor hate web sites
I hope that the FBI and Secret Service are closely monitoring hate Talk Radio and the right-wing hate web sites such as Free Republic/"Freepers". There are some extreme crazies calling/posting today.
