Obama and Medvedev to meet soon, Kremlin says
Source: Reuters

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and U.S. President-elect Barack Obama agreed to meet soon during a telephone conversation on Saturday, a Kremlin spokesman said.

He said the meeting would most probably take place when they were in Washington for the Group of 20 summit next weekend.

The G20, comprising major industrialized powers and leading developing countries, will meet to discuss how to tackle the global financial crisis.

The Kremlin spokesman declined to give details of the call, saying only that Medvedev congratulated Obama on his successful campaign for the presidency.

4. Only this I D I O T could start another Cold War !
Frances Gary Powers is from the area. He is the spy pilot who was shot down in May, 1960 in Russia. I've been to Russia three times and have dear friends living in Moscow who took me to see the pile of wreckage of the U-2 still on display in Moscow. A letter came a year ago "we are disgusted with your president Bush as he is pointing your rocket missiles at us from Poland and The Ukraine." We can't afford another cold war, it's time for diplomacy by a true statesman representing US. A President Obama will sit down for a meal with Medvedev and Putin. Hannity's America and the Bush years are over. My friends are dear wonderful people, they even had me over to their homes to sit down and have a meal together. Change "FROM THE BOTTOM UP" ! It's coming.
