FBI reports small fire in basement of headquarters

WASHINGTON, Nov 11 (Reuters) - A small fire broke out in the basement of the FBI's headquarters building in Washington on Tuesday, an agency spokesman said.

The blaze occurred while the building was closed for the Veterans Day holiday and the FBI spokesman said he had no information that there had been an explosion, as some local media reported.

At least four fire trucks were outside the building, with lights flashing, hoses hooked up and pumping water, according to a Reuters reporter at the scene.

I just finished watching all nine seasons on DVD. I forgot what a timely series it was. It's almost like Chris Carter was psychic. The last season about the shadow government and Mulder being held without charges and tortured in military custody gave me shivers. Although he explains it as aliens taking over, it still was pretty prescient.
