Siegelman’s appeal will be in December
Source: gadsden times

Former Gov. Don Siegelman said the appeal of his criminal conviction will be Dec. 9 at the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta.

“My case may not be the first case to be heard but we are confident it will be over before noon,” Siegelman said in an e-mail.

The appellate court authorized his release from prison pending the outcome of his appeal, stating there were “substantial questions of law and fact likely to result in a reversal,” Siegelman said.

He asked for prayers that the 11th Circuit will rule favorably and “that this horrible legal ordeal will finally come to an end.”

Siegelman wants his nemesis, former White House aide Karl Rove, to be held accountable. Siegelman said the Justice Department with alleged involvement by Rove was behind his 2006 conviction on federal charges.

1. ORAL ARGUMENT,
the final aspect of the appeal, will be held 9 Dec, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals will issue its decision some time thereafter. Written briefs were submitted some time ago.

Just trying to set the process out clearly.

May this horrible nightmare be over for you and your family. And may those responsible for this, be held accountable.....

4. know you mean well with the prayers stuff, but.............
don't waste your time. is he not THEIR god, too? after all, if siegleman wins, you will feel all uppity and credit your prayers for letting Him know the situation. if he loses, you will blow it off and blame His busy schedule. please do not be so self-righteous as to assume he would be taking your side.

with all their heart.

Thank you for caring about his ordeal.
