Officials report US missile strike in Pakistan
Source: AP

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) -- A suspected U.S. missile strike hit a village well inside Pakistani territory Wednesday, killing at least six alleged militants in an attack that could raise tensions between the anti-terror allies, officials said.

The missile struck a house in Bannu district, which is a part of northwest Pakistan where al-Qaida and Taliban have found refuge, but does not directly border Afghanistan.

Two Pakistani intelligence officials said their agents reported foreigners from Central Asia were among the dead. The intelligence officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media.

3. Pakistan, as always, between hammer & anvil

Same story since it's birth. The puppet "democratic" regime that now rules in place of the puppet military dictator destroys villages, kills thousands, uproots a quarter million more in the NWFP and FATA, while the occupying power kills from the air with the bravery of being out of range.

To make matters even better (as if this wonderful situation could even have room for improvement!), we are promised more of the same for the next few years.

These murderous tantrums will not, however, stop the popular resistance in the area and carries the side-benefit of creating local advertising on a scale that the best minds of Madison Ave would not be able to upstage. Assuming any of them are left alive to avenge the misdeeds, that is, as some of these villages simply must be destroyed in order to save them from the evils of whatever it is they're bravely raging against at the moment.
