Critics punch at touch-screen voting security-Atlanta Journal Constitution
Edited on Sun Feb-15-04 04:08 PM by SaddenedDem
http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/metro/0204/15voting.html

Georgia's secretary of state gushes over its high-tech features, which she says have significantly lowered the number of uncounted votes and the possibility of election fraud.

Ginny Howard looks at the same machine and sees the mechanism that will undo democracy.

Greedy corporations and power-hungry politicians will conspire to steal elections by manipulating results electronically, the retired math teacher from Smyrna believes.

In the chasm between Cox and Howard, a debate is growing over touch-screen voting.

Print Edition - Above the Fold Headline of the same paper reads:

Rigged Elections? Touch-screen critics howl

5. Jay Bookman
Thanks.

Well, if he has any brains at all, he knows he was duped. He knows he was lied too, deceived and misled. And if he has any journalistic integrity left, he will begin a real investigation into the 2002 Georgia election.

6. The sad thing is the lost credibility
I remember when Jay Bookman first arrived on the scene and wrote his editorial on PNAC. He was a big hit at DU and has managed to lose all credibility on this story when a DUer asked him to cover it in a live chat and he said it was "a non-issue."

2. This issue is more important than which Dem wins the nomination
because if the pigs steal the votes, we will never be able to vote these corrupt pigs out and get our country back.
