"Ever since Jason J. Mattera first came from Brooklyn to Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., he has stirred things up on the quiet campus of 3,400 undergraduates.

Mr. Mattera, 20, founded the College Republicans, which soon became one of the largest groups on campus. Under his leadership, the club started a publication called The Hawk's Right Eye, which upset college officials with its critiques of Islam and homosexuality.

But nothing else has attracted as much attention as the club's scholarship for whites.

"Only students who can truthfully answer yes to the following question may be considered for this award: Are you a student of noncolor, Caucasian descent (white)?" reads the application for the scholarship, whose winner, it said, would receive $50. "In 100 words or less, write why you are proud of your white heritage and explain what being white means to you."

People just don't realize how hard it is being a white guy these days with THE MAN trying to keep my neck pinned down under his big ol' boot of oppression. When I'm out at night, cops don't even look at me, man. What's a cracker gotta do for a little bit of attention? And anytime that I'm in a clothing store, bunches of employees are all up in my face trying to sell me stuff and whatnot. I just want to try on my Old Navy cargopants without some headset-wearing sales associate being like, "Can I help you with something, sir?" When I apply for a job, I often receive a callback, and in the past I've actually been hired. Do you really think I want to work? Hells no. And when old ladies see me heading their way, none of them ever clutch their purses or walk to the other side of the street. Am I not hardcore? Do I not scare you, little old lady? Please. Haven't you heard Limp Bizkit? Have you not listened to Eminem? Or Staind? White dudes have a lot to piss and moan about, y'all. Not exactly sure what about, but it's high time that society started treating white guys a little more favorably. For real, yo.
Not to mention the unfair stereotypying of white guys in movies and television. Always showing us as holding good jobs, running businesses, obeying the law, driving fancy cars, being in powerful and respected positions, or just as hardworking types simply trying to do the best for their families. Don't you know the kind of pressure that places on us as a people?
It has to be tough on whites attending a private university in Rhode Island that costs 30K/yr for tuition/room/board.

...there are thousands of ethnic/heritage scholarships available to white people. The Mayflower Society has scholarships, as does the Huguenot Society, as probably does D.A.R, etc. The vast majority of the members of these groups are white.

I have been getting harrassed due to emailing them an angry email stating the following:

We better never see your faces...we are watching you freaks. (WE)Whites, blacks, hispanics, orientals, gays, and lesbians.


Then I received:

"Nice threat, asshole.  YOU better watch your back every fucking minute of the day, you fucking asshole.  Because we are watching you."   

I have receiving email like this and with less violent threats. Just a bunch of crazy justifications for having such a purpose.

I've also received an email from Dom Giordano, The Big Talker 1210, asking me to be a guest by phone for 5-10 minutes. I declined.

Who knows, next I'll have Ashcroft issuing a warrant for my arrest for oppposing their views. I love how these people try to intimidate me. These people infuriate me!

is the nazi movement itself. They can call themselves whatever they want to. I know who they really are. My mother is German, and she can still remember the very end of the war. She has a few stories to tell about the WWII nazis. The poisonous hate these type of people promote, has ruined countries. Almost ending civilization as we know it. Most who support these powerful people do not even know what they are supporting.

And "whites" with sickle cell are told they have "Mediterranean Anemia" so as to not upset with the idea they are a touch "black" - but should not those with Mediterranean Anemia in the family get some points taken away?

Or is this an on-off qualification - only "pure all whites" can get money.

Now in the South we had the Quadroon (1/4 "black") and indeed some folks ran tables back to 1/32 "black". Should these folks have a little flexibility in their qualifying rules?

And does Indian or Arab or Pacific Island black really count against them.
