Court hearing for Muslim chaplain postponed for fifth time

The Associated Press - FORT BENNING, Ga.

The preliminary hearing for a Muslim Army chaplain charged with adultery and possession of pornography has been delayed again -- the fifth time.

James Yee was due to appear before a military judge in Fort Benning on Wednesday. Base officials announced the postponement Tuesday and rescheduled it for March 10.

The hearing was originally scheduled for Dec. 2 and already has been delayed four times so the Army can review classified documents in the case. Officials also blamed this latest delay on the need to review classified documents.

... Yee's attorney, Eugene Fidell, said Tuesday afternoon that this latest delay indicates the government is unable to sustain its case.
