Miss. gov.'s nephew fills national GOP role
Source: The Clarion-Ledger

Barbour, the current National Committeeman from Mississippi, works for the Jackson-based lobbying group Capitol Resources LLC. He has served as the campaign manager for former 3rd District U.S. Rep. Chip Pickering, who recently joined the firm, and Gov. Haley Barbour, his uncle and a former RNC Chairman.

Keeping it in the family, Gov Haley Barbour was the head of the RNC that brought us GWB, wasn't he?

6. Didn't take long for Steele to buckle to the real power behind the RNC

If this is what he considers "moving the party forward", I can't wait to see what he has in store next.

I hope they bring enough water for their 40 years in the wilderness.

7. Why do they need a transition team for the national party? It ain't like
they have to fire everyone or replace them.

Couldn't their Executive Director take care of that?
