FDA: Peanut plant knowingly sent bad products
Source: AP

WASHINGTON - Federal health officials say the Georgia peanut plant at the center of the salmonella outbreak knowingly shipped tainted products.

Previously, the Food and Drug Administration had said Peanut Corp. of America retested products after getting an initial positive result for salmonella. The agency said the company shipped the goods after follow-up tests came back negative.

2. Here's another instance where intrusive government regulation got in the way
of corporate profits. What are they gonna do with all that peanut butter now? Do you people realize what meddling like this costs American companies every year?

10. Corrupt capitalism at the worst . . .
and I didn't read the whole article but would guess that in many cases failing

businesses will do things they're not supposed to do --

Will there be strong penalities - and I don't mean fines???

11. Where is the justice?
The FDA must be held criminally responsible. They had their marching orders from the Bush crime machine. Where is the justice?

I hope this Administration can wipe the slate clean and give me hope in the Government again.

13. Make them Pay the medical bills
They should have to pay every single medical bill of those they made sick and will make sick due to their willful negligence. In China they execute you.

from this factory slat year. I thought it was really cool that costco took the time to notify us individually, then I realized I ate the stuff 6 or 8 months ago!
