Protesters in Miami demand that Aristide step down

Hundreds of protesters called Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide a murderer and terrorist and demanded Saturday that he step down.

The protest at Miami's Bayfront Park was coalition of Haitian, Venezuelan and Cuban groups that also demanded the ouster of Fidel Castro and President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.

Several speakers called Aristide, Castro and Chavez murderers and terrorists, their speeches peppered with comparisons to Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.

"Chavez must go. Aristide must go. And Castro must go," Haitian-born organizer Rubens Eliatus told the media as a crowd cheered.

...the state dept. to lead the American people to think that the Bush supported coup in Haiti represents the "good guys." Actually, the opposite is true, especially in Venezuela.
