U.S. food sector may be vulnerable to attack
U.S. officials worry al Qaeda may be plotting an attack against U.S. agriculture or food supplies, from importing a killer livestock disease to poisoning food products or supermarket produce.

"The food supply is at risk. This is not an idle threat," said Lawrence Dyckman, head of the natural resources and environment section of the U.S. General Accounting Office...

record on Mad Cow would indicate the administration is NOT interested in the US food supply

2. Food - Homeland Security of the most basic kind
I'm talking Community Supported Agriculture (CSA).

It works. Been around since the late 1980s -- may be time to ramp it up in the city or town where you live.


in the face of Big Agro and the Mutant "food products" it is foisting on you and your family (sans labels to give you any clue about what you are eating) many people are moving toward CSA.

Terrorist threats is a whole new, unsettling idea. Nonetheless, CSA is a viable response.

It's a big change, but it ensures clean, healthy food -- and supports a local enviro oasis, and gives local people good honest hard-working jobs on the land. Local economy:

4. sure ramping up that fear thing 2day.
First the taliban mouthpiece 'reminding' us that Osama bogeyman is still planning attacks. Now we know where - in our food!!!!! :o Is there just no end 2 this evil. I am sooooooooo scared! god, I hate these rat bastards!

5. The way the Bush* administration has gutted all the environmental laws
and rules governing inspection of our food supply, not to mention GM seeds, we'll kill ourselves before they get a chance.
