'Doonesbury' offers $10,000 for proof Bush served

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- The frequently irreverent "Doonesbury" comic strip is offering $10,000 to anyone who can show that President Bush served in the Alabama Air National Guard.

"That's right -- we're offering $10,000 cash to anyone who can prove George W. Bush fulfilled his Guard duty in Alabama," Wednesday's strip said. "So if you served with Mr. Bush -- even if only in the officers' club -- we want to hear from you right now!"

3. I Don't Think The 10K should be Needed

You would have thought by now, that at least one person serving in that unit would have remembered him by now. I served four years in the US Army (ETS 1993) and I still remember the names and faces of many whom I served with. You would think one person who served with the "Shrubber" would have remembered that face. I know it'd haunt my dreams if I had. But, NOT ONE person (except for the liar in Georgia or Florida) has come forward. What happened????? They all die or something. If you asked Fox News they'll probably tell you it's a Liberal, Democratic, Commie, UN, Conspiracy.
