Short reignites feud with attack on Tony's friend |
|
Looks like Clare Short is not keeping quiet - indeed she is renewing the attack. Will she overplay her hand? http://news.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=2591647

1. This recent Clare Short affair |

basically makes it as obvious as possible to bush* a problem he has.
The Labour Party in britain contains both his strongest allies and his worst enemies. However far blair sticks his head up up bush*'s behind, every so often the other wing of the Labour Party are going to make life really difficult for bush*. Also blair is not great on the basement issue, certainly not as far as the neo-cons are concerned anyway.
The Conservative Party can be relied upon to be staunch allies with no iratating downsides what so ever.
As far as bush* is concerned he is involved in a difficult enough war as it is without having his closet ally sticking the occasional knife in his back or if the Left get control of the Labour Party, pulling out of the coalition completely. bush* supporting tony blair and the Labour Party is not a good percentage play nor in the interests of the u.s.
If bush* wins in 2004, then for britain it is going to be like Eastern Europe 1945-1948 where Stalin replaced liberal democratic governments with communist ones.
