2. Where did the goofs get guns?
Oh, that's right. This is America, where gun proliferation and easy access are of vital importance to freedom.

3. Probably Illegally
From some seller who sold them out of the trunk of his car.

You do understand the difference between legal gun ownership and the illegal sale of guns.

But from what I've seen of your posts about guns, I don't believe it makes a diffrence to you and others who would like to see a totally unarmed population.

Authorities need to enforce the laws already on the books, they won't catch all the scum, but they might get some of them off the streets.

4. I understand that the difference is a nominal one.
They are all manufactured and sold as "good" guns at their inception.

They all end up in the same pool once they are out in the public, whether actively circulating or patiently awaiting their day.

5. I think we should be looking at the reasons for this rather than looking at the weapons
the underlying reason is what I'm interested in not the fact they had a gun and they decided to use it. If not guns then bats, knives and on and on. The problem is not the gun the problem is what we need to work on, you know what caused this to begin with.

6. Why weren't the perps using bats or knives?
Would the crime have been committed without access to guns?

7. who knows
do you know why this happened to begin with? I don't but I know it's not the guns fault that someone chose it to do their bidness

8. Convenient killing power from a distance. Obviously the reason chosen.
It is insufficient to say that guns are blameless. But why are they available? What societal value is being promoted, and how does any such good outweigh the harm caused by proliferation and access?
