Bush Administration (Travel) ‘Blacklist’ Memos Released

President Obama has come under fire for supposedly putting Nevada on a ‘blacklist' when it comes to traveling here.

But Senator Harry Reid says he's setting the record straight. "President Obama has gotten a lot of blame for nothing. I have here two memos, both from the Bush White House, the Bush Justice Department, saying don't bring people to Reno or Las Vegas."

Senator Reid referred to memos sent out by the Bush Administration.

Meanwhile, President Obama's chief of staff says there is no room for this kind of blacklist policy in the Obama White House.

Gov. Jim Gibbons says he's angered by the reported "blacklist." "I am working hard to get more jobs and more tourists for Nevada to help our economy recover and the Obama administration seems to be completely unaware of the damage they are causing to Nevada's economy and the people here."
