Deaths in $6.5m Iraq bank robbery

Gunmen have killed eight security guards and stolen about $6.5m in cash during a break-in at a bank in central Baghdad, Iraqi police have said.

The robbery on Tuesday was the second in a week in Baghdad's commercial Karradah district.

Police suspected the robbers got help from an inside source, as bank guards working on the overnight shifts were instructed not to open the doors for any senior officials.
