Holder: Homegrown Terror Threat Increasing
Source: ABC News

Attorney General Eric Holder told ABC News in an exclusive interview today that he is increasingly concerned about Americans becoming radicalized and turning to terrorism.

"I mean, that's one of the things that's particularly troubling: This whole notion of radicalization of Americans," Holder told ABC News during an interview in his SUV as his motorcade brought him from home to work. "Leaving this country and going to different parts of the world and then coming back, all, again, in aim of doing harm to the American people, is a great concern."

Holder said the ever-changing threat of terror and the pressure to keep up with it weighs heavily on his mind as he tries to ensure that the government has done all it can to anticipate the moves of an unpredictable enemy.

"In some ways it's the most sobering part of the day," Holder said of his morning intelligence briefing, in which he gets the latest report on the landscape of "the organizations, the people who are bound and determined to do harm to our nation."

1. the people who are 'bound and determined to do harm' to our nation
are in our government, not the other way around.

The bogus 'war' on terror continues, much to the detriment of our once great republic. :(

2. They're making a classic mistake
in focusing solely on people who have gone overseas to get terrorist training. They need to focus on people whose rage is being whipped up daily by hate radio, people who are doing things like bombing the cars of political opponents.

You know, the far right.

Democracies have always fallen to the far right. There are no exceptions.

3. And If They Don't Pass Single Payer, the Left and Center Are Going to Get Feisty, Too
There's a time when you HAVE to listen to your constituents. After 8 years of getting the Bird from Boy George and Darth Cheney, the people have had ENOUGH, and the government is going to have to give.

6. You are absolutely right. The radical out there talking heads are fanning the flames of hatred
and nada is done about it. I think it is a very very serious issue. Personally I think it is time to revisit "big media conglomerates" as well as fines for "hate speech". Tricky area but it is blatant hate speech that they are free to put on national tv and radio in prominent places.

12. Tim McVeigh got his training overseas
Unfortunately, the US military is footing the bill for a lot of this "training".

14. You are so right!
The hate radio crew of limpblaugh, goofyass beck, bill o'lielly and hannity's insanity are stiring up the right-wing wacko conservanazis.

That's the terrorism we have to watch out for.

The conservanazi republiKKKans, armed to the teeth, hating Obama and wanting to destroy any opposition.

It's coming unless someone shuts them up.

4. I am a hellofalot more concerned about new McVeighs
Than american taliban.

The people who blew up my "neighbors" didn't need to go overseas for training. They were domestic 100% grade-A trained terrorists.

And there are more of them out there. Ranting about birth certificates, socialism, and getting their country back.

Holder best be looking towards the RW for domestic terrorism.

5. Hopefully, he's keeping up with the Glenn Becks, Michael Savages, Ann Coulters and other Extremists.
Those are the ones that are dangerous to the U.S. as a nation.

15. The SPLC needs to hear from all of you.
The Southern Poverty Law Center continues to solicit me for donations. I was a contributor when the militias were active. Most the those groups were KKK hiding behind the Constitution. The KKKonservanazi republiKKKans were happy to have them around to agitate the Clinton White House.
Times moved on, the militias fell by the wayside.
I've expressed in letter after letter to the SPLC that if they don't start targeting these idiots like limpblaugh and beck, those two will stir up some real hatred. It's just a matter of time before either of them will be using more and more racist talk on their shows. They are keeping the least intelligent followers stirred up.
