A supervisory agent for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Detroit office was arrested today on allegations that he went on a vigilante-type rampage after a burglary of his mother’s east-side home in May.





Alvin Davis, 32, faces charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment and felonious assault among others for allegedly holding people he believed responsible for the burglary at gunpoint in his truck over Memorial Day weekend, police said.

Federal agents arrested Davis at work today at the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization building on Jefferson and he is being held at the Detroit Police Department Eastern District because Detroit Police is the lead agency in the case.

Police said Davis put a gun in someone’s mouth, forced a man into his truck at gunpoint in search of the alleged burglar and pointed a gun at the heads of several people during a series of incidents over several days. The incidents occurred after someone broke into his mother’s house on Marlborough and stole a computer and other items, police said.
