Ahmed Wali Karzai takes 100% of votes in opposition stronghold
Source: Times Online (UK)

In the southern Afghan district of Shorabak, the tribesmen gathered shortly before last month’s presidential election to discuss which candidate they would back. After a debate they chose to endorse Abdullah Abdullah, President Hamid Karzai’s leading opponent.

The tribal leaders prepared to deliver a landslide for Abdullah – but it never happened. They claim Ahmed Wali Karzai, the president’s brother and leader of the Kandahar provincial council, detained the local governor and closed all the district’s 46 polling sites on election day.

The ballot boxes were taken back to the district headquarters where, tribal leaders allege, they were stuffed with ballots by local policemen. A total of 23,900 ballots were finally sent off to Kabul, the capital – every one of them a vote for Karzai.

The alleged fraud, which Ahmed Wali Karzai denies, was the most blatant example among hundreds of incidents that have threatened to make a mockery of the election.

3. I know how they did this
They put a casket next to a ballot box, and hung a sign on the ballot box: "Put a vote for Ahmed Wali Karzai in this box or we'll put you in the other one."

4. So let me get this straight....
A corrupt pResident, with ties to the CIA and the oil industry, "won" an election with the help of his equally corrupt brother, who is the governor of a southern province?

Why does this sound so familiar?

8. Ngo Dinh Diem once won the RVN election with 98% of the vote
In some districts, double the population voted.

Good times.

10. " Sorry, we can't help you - it's 4 o clock in the morning and no one is awake in Washington.....

..can you hold out a few hours? "

Ngo was a classic too. Can you imagine how he felt when he called the company and realized that nobody gives a shit about him anymore?

Graham Greene would love to write about this stuff if he were still here!

6. BBC - New Afghan 'poll frauds' emerge
Further evidence has come to light of widespread fraud during the recent Afghan presidential election.

One tribal elder has admitted to the BBC that he tampered with hundreds of ballots in favour of incumbent President Hamid Karzai.

More than 600 serious complaints are being investigated, but the deadline for new complaints has now passed.

It's a big "F**K YOU!" from the people rigging elections to the average Joe/Joanne in the street.

Or certainly he is not ahead in terms of votes actually cast.

19. BASIC CIA OPERATION
This is the way that the CIA has, for years, taken over
"Democratic" countries. Poppy Bush showed
"Junior" a variation (more sophisticated) of this
procedure, so he could take over America. We knew what was
happening, we didn't do a thing to stop it (either time).
Truly, ((with 17% unemployment) there is nothing to stop us
from using tactics from the "civil rights era", and
taking to the streets (at least every weekend, look at the
"tea baggers") until we get some real governmental
change. Of course, with ALL of the MSM working non-stop to
prevent this, it will take some determination. Hell, Americans
have no idea, by design, of what is happening in their own
country. I have asked most of my friends if they have heard of
Sibel Edmonds and her testimony. None of them have. Go to
"bradblog.com" and watch her testimony (given last
month) and then ask yourself why this is not
"front-page" news all over our country. It is (was)
in most other countries. If I didn't have children and family
here (USA) I would have been gone long ago. I can't fight
"the system" by myself. It is self-destructing
though. I hope my children's lives are not destroyed because
of it.
