17. And you know what orbit it will have?
My point is, you have no idea what the thing will be used for and your post was uninformed, ignorant and inflammatory.

15. You know those last miles on a Google search that are all blurry - this is
probably for clarity for the purposes of the Poindexter database - it will be able to view the sun-bather in the back yard with the top or bottom off and right through to basements and under the sink cabinets and it will check battery efficiency as well. Everything about us will be in their databases according to who we are? Oh wait - Bush and Poindexter are gone. Guess they are not gathering any more data now. (I wish I could know what's so secret about it - maybe there will be a meet-up with the occupants of a few UFO's to discuss what the most appropriate punishment will be if we continue to destroy our earth planet).

20.  Oh good we get to watch a secret rocket taking off.
How exciting, we must be so insignificant not to even deserve a cover story. It's secret, and give us more tax money. so we can do what we want.

Boy it used to be that they would call it a communications satellite, or scientific research--something.

29. Oh, that could be.

NRO and NSA both employ "communications" satellites that intercept communications. If it were a low-level photographic satellite, it would probably be launched from Vandenberg AFB. The ones going out to geosychronous orbit, or the stranger very high altitude orbits they sometimes use, benefit from the more southerly location of the Florida site.

There is, however, another possibility. The Bush Administration hit NASA hard with a secret crash program that was obviously a front for a military technology (and the entire moon business was probably also a front for it, too, which would explain why the moon thing ain't happening). Some, including myself, have conjectured that it is a kinetic bombardment system along the lines of Project Thor. You can't hide in a mountain if you can turn the mountain into a crater of magma. The higher the orbit, the more energy imparted to the weapons when they are de-orbited.
