Venezuela's Chavez say ousted Honduran president returned home with help from military
By Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez says the ousted Honduran president sneaked back to his country with the help of Honduran military personnel.

Chavez says ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya traveled by plane, in the trunk of a car and in tractors from Nicaragua to Honduras in a secret operation aided by supporters in the military.

He says that Zelaya told him in a telephone conversation that he would return to Honduras even if it cost him his life.

Chavez made the comments Wednesday at the Lincoln Center before the premier of Oliver Stone's documentary titled "South of the border."

2. Both are vey courageous even if you didn't like them
no one can deny the courage they have as they are constantly in danger. Another coup some say was backed by the CIA, that looks like it may fail.

The US is going to have to get used to dealing with legitmately elected presidents of South and Central American countries. The old ways of installing puppet governments aren't working anymore.

The people are standing up against dictatorships and I think it's exciting to watch these countries, one after another throw out those who would sell their countries for power and profit. I wish them well also.

5. Airplane to nowhere fits the description for Aristede. The U.S. and France yanked him out of the
country at night and put him on their aircraft.

The CIA-military is trying to take down Morales.

We declared that four leaders of their countries in the Western Hemisphere - all duly elected - are no fit to serve their people according to our definition of 'fit'.

This is not just under Republican rule in the White House. This is also under baron rule of the WHite House. If not, someone please explain what we're doing on behalf of corporations. Corporations are not going through this to make the U.S. more secure. They are using us to make themselves more secure. 'Us' being the everyone else who is not part of their scheme.

4. Hugo Chavez
has been such a positive force in his country's history. If it
weren't for him, Venezuela would still be a slave state, with
the very few, wealthy citizens as the slave owners.
Unfortunately, this is what has and continues to happen to
America. Our people have yet to demand their freedom,
fortunately the Venezuelan people did so when they elected
President Chavez.
President Zalaya, took the long route. At first he was a
puppet for the wealthy. As his term progressed, so did he.
Finally he decided to actually help the less fortunate. That
is when he became a threat to the PTB in Honduras. He has had
to suffer (atone?) for his beliefs that all people are equal.
Unfortunately, the American government, has made it hard for
any South American country to throw off its shackles. It would
logically follow that America is in the same boat as the
Venezuelan and Honduran people...

6. Zelaya will be out in a couple months anyway
And he's not eligible for re-election, not that he would win anyway.
