Republican U.S. Reps. Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul are sharing the stage at a student town hall tonight.

The event, hosted by Young Americans for Liberty, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Northrop Auditorium on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

10. Calls to end the Fed have double meanings - often racist

To the White Supremacist crowd like those found on Paul's friends website Stormfront the "Fed" is both codeword for Jew and reference to tracing our problems back to the legal tender act of federalism in the immediate time before the civil war undermining states rights. I was not the least bit surprised to hear that the lynched of a census worker had the word "Fed" carved in his chest. While I'll agree the fed should have more oversight I think wholesale jumping on the anti-fed bandwagon is getting in bed with some of the most vicious elements of hatred.
