Second blast at Russian train crash site targeted investigators

Three cars of the Nevsky Express high-speed Russian train from Moscow to St. Petersburg derailed Friday evening after an explosive device equivalent to 7 kg (15 lbs) of TNT detonated on the railroad tracks. A second, weaker bomb exploded on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (11:00 GMT) at the site of the attack.

There were no injuries or casualties reported from the second blast.

According to the latest information, 26 people were killed and more than 90 injured when the train derailed. A criminal case into the Nevsky Express bombing was launched on charges of terrorism.

Forensic examination established that the second explosive device had a remote detonator, and was activated using a cell phone.

so, these investigators which are believed to have been the targets, are they the ones who were investigating the November 27 bombing? which they believe is connected with this one?

i'm confused. or was it just "investigators" in general?

2. This is right out of a movie.

Called "The Kingdom" directed by Peter Berg and starring Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner as FBI agents sent to investigate a bombing in a U.S. civilian contractor village in Saudi Arabia where a smaller bomb was detonated in a market then after that carnage the US State Department and Saudi investigators were the target of a bigger bomb placed even earlier than the first but set to go off hours later. Eerie even if this was kind of the reverse of the movie plot.
