W.House: to work with Congress on Afghan war funds
Tue Dec 1, 2009 5:51pm EST

WASHINGTON, Dec 1 (Reuters) - The Obama administration will will work with the U.S. Congress to secure any additional funding needed to pay for the increase in U.S. troops planned for Afghanistan, an administration official said on Tuesday.

"The administration will look to see how much of these costs can be addressed through the funds already budgeted," an official from the White House's Office of Management and Budget said.

"If needed, the administration will work with Congress on any necessary additional funding."

3. Somebody will always profit from illness.
Just like people profit from any other job. In this case, doctors and other healthcare workers. Currently, insurance company folk and investors; under a government system, government employees and administrators.

Unless you want people to work for exactly what their minimal expenses are. Good luck with that.

6. Perhaps that's the brilliance of Obama's plan
If he made a deal with Congress before last night's speech, he knows we won't really be sending those troops on a death march to Afghanistan. But he has placated the war general and nation builders by throwing them a bone.

2. NO FUNDING FOR THE WAR!!! We can't afford it, just
like we can't afford the badly need REAL stimulus, just like we couldn't afford REAL health care reform.

It's that big sucking sound...like Ross Perot used to say. They can always find money for death and destruction, but never what's good & right.
