Bus explodes in Syria causing casualties
Source: reuters

DUBAI (Reuters) - A bus exploded in a busy Damascus suburb causing dozens of casualties, Al Jazeera television reported on Thursday.

"Dozens of casualties in a bus explosion in the Sayyeda Zainab area in Damascus," the Doha-based television network said in a news flash without giving details.

The suburb is home to a pilgrimage site for Shi'ite Muslims.

Side note: Saeed Jalili, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has arrived in Damascus for bilateral talks on matters of mutual interest today (Thursday).

3. It was a tyre which blew up.

4. Iran says it was a bus full of their pilgrims
and that all the dead are their citizens.
We are sorry for the families.
It must be this Shiai-Sunni rift in that region or Sadami refugees in Syria (those guys being secularand enjoy Syrian vodka).
I think we will never really know more on this one because "important" people dont go to pilgrimage on buses in the desert. I feel sorry for how cheap life has become over there.
