Rally-Goers Urge Lieberman To Support Health Care
Source: AP

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) Supporters of health care reform rallying outside Sen. Joe Lieberman's Connecticut office say they're disappointed in the senator and accuse him of blocking the Democrats' health care legislation.

About two dozen people attended the Tuesday rally, organized by MoveOn.org. It was the latest in a series of protests at the senator's home and office, urging him to support a public option in the health care reform bill.

This latest rally comes after Lieberman said he opposed the package because it included an expansion of Medicare.

Jane Maher of Oxford, a local MoveOn.org activist, calls Lieberman "an embarrassment" to the people Connecticut.

I wish I could believe that a couple dozen people outside his office would matter. That sorry POS has his head buried so far in the sand (or up the insurance industries a$$) that he'll never notice a few voters who happen to be pissed off at him.

4. Kick this...we always hear that Dems don't protest. You will only see it here
..because if it's mentioned at all in the Media (doubtful) it will be a few people protested against Senator Lieberman today...but they couldn't bother to go to DC. That's how it will be spun. In fact protesting at your Congresscritters home office should be very effective.
